Christmas Time!

Today Emberlyn got to meet Santa for her first time!!! At Babies-R-Us today they had Santa there and were taking pictures for free! They were putting the pictures in ornaments but ran out of ornaments right before they had printed Emberlyn's and her friends pictures. Oh well we can make our own ornaments!

The picture is small and they gave us about 3 little pictures so this is the best picture of a picture I could get (since I don't have a scanner). But I LOVE it! We will have to do this every year!

Everything here is good! Emberlyn is getting so big! She can sit up unassisted for a few seconds and she can roll all over the floor! She will start on one end of the blanket and end up on the other side! It is so cute! She also has been trying to put her knees under her as if she wants to crawl! She is learning and growing so fast!!! Time has just flown by!

I still haven't decorated for Christmas but probably wil this weekend! I'm doing good just counting down the days til my birthday, 28 days baby!

Jeffers is doing good! Working hard at Training Table and he has drill this weekend, we get to go to the Christmas Party for his unit tonight!

FINALLY EnGaGeD!

Yes, its true we are FINALLY engaged!!!

On Friday Oct. 10th, 2008 Jeffers took me out to dinner, we went and got some yummy sushi! Then we went to our favorite park by our house and walked around. We walked to the beautiful fountain at the park and that is where he asked me to marry him! Cute! I love him!

We haven't set a date yet but we're thinking spring maybe?? If anyone can think of a good date let me know! :)

Emberlyn is 12 weeks old today!!!

Emberlyn is 12 weeks old today!!! She is getting so big already! I cannot believe that a whole 3 months has already passed!!! Lets see, Emberlyn is good at smiling, and cooing, and she will laugh in her sleep! Its the cutest thing ever! Anyway, I wanted to post some pictures we took tonight! Hope you enjoy!!!

Sundance!

Today we went to Sundance for our family outing! Emberlyn loves being outdoors and stroller rides! She LOVED it! I'm so blessed to have such an amazing baby! She stared at the raccoon in a can it was cute! Jeffers took this pic and I LOVE it!

UpDaTe!

Hello everyone! I haven't blogged in over a month so I thought i would put up some new pics of Emberlyn!

She will be 10 weeks old on Monday! She is getting so big! She loves to smile! and She loves attention! i can never get a picture of her smiling because she gets so fansanated by the camera phone! These pics are of me and her last week and her in her Bumbo that Auntie Eve and Uncle Chris got her!! She LOVES sitting up!!! Her neck needs to be just a little bit stronger to hold her head up better before I can leave her in it for longer periods of time, more than just a few minutes! She LOVES sitting up!!! She also loves looking around at everything. This morning I was holding her and she was staring at her foot as she moved it. She was trying to figure it out, It was so adorable!! She will also stares at her abc's blanket, it is a colorful blanket with the abc's on it and pictures! She will get really quiet and just try to figure out that blanket!!! She smiles ALL the time, other than when she is grouchy! She loves bath time too!

She just had her 2 month appt. and had to get her shots... :( I was SOOOOOO nervous all day long! She did such a good job but was grouchy for a couple days after. No fever, nothing though! I'm so proud of her! She weighs 10 lbs 4 oz now and it 22 in long!! She is growing good!

Jeffers just got back from Bulgaria late Tuesday night/ early Wednesday morning! Emberlyn and I picked him up at 2 in the morning off of the base. Emberlyn slept but Tuesday was the day she received her shots so she kept waking up and was cranky Tuesday and Wednesday! Jeffers was gone for 3 weeks. He had a lot of fun and took tons of pictures! I will have to put some up! It is really nice to have Jeffers back! We missed him tons!!! HE went to Bulgaria with the Guard for their Annual training, he did training like riot control, some fun through in the humvees and lots of things like that! On the weekends they got to go out. His first weekend there he went golfing, which sucked her said and he also went to the beach! That was fun! He bought me some knock of Louis Vuitton wallet andcoin purse tha look completly real!! :) He bought me some killer earrings too! I love them! He bought Emberlyn a realy really cute outfit!!

The next weekend they went to some awesome ancient ruins kind of like Rome andwhat not. i will def. havr to put some pics up! And they also went to an old church!

It sounds and looks like he had a great time but we are glad to have him back home!! :)

My Cute Girl Will Be 5 Weeks On Monday!!! :)

My Cute girl will be 5 weeks old on Monday!!!

but is still so small


We took these cute pictures the day I attempted to make flower headbands, like the cute ones you see in the mall for outrageous prices lol, well this is a project I want to finish, I am horrible about finishing my projects but this one I AM going to finish to the end! I am determinded to make these things work. I bought some fake flowers at the craft store and some little metal clippies at Sally's Beauty Supply ( you just clip them on the head band) so I tried hot gluing the flowers on- it worked for about 3 hours max before the flowers fell off... So I am on a mission to find something to get the flowers to stick to the metal clippy! Any one know of anything??? I am thinking I might just have to go with some kind of crazy/ super glue! lol! Anyway, just thought I'd give an update.
Things are going great! Still tired as ever but things are good. You learn to take everythin day by day. I have always wondered how moms did it, and I have especially been wondering that lately, how do women make it to when their kids are old enough to walk, etc.?!?!? Well I think I figured it out! You take it day by day! So that is my plan for a while!
Hopefully I can go back to work soon and start bringing in some moneys again!!! But I don't want to leave Emberlyn, she is my little buddy! I love being with her all of the time, it is going to be so so hard!
Jeffers goes to Bulgeria on the 15th :( :( I'm sad and so nervous to be by myself with a 6 week old baby for 3 weeks but at the same time I am so excited for him to go to a different country and maybe the surrounding countries if he's lucky! What an awesome experience!! I wish I could go too lol!

Emberlyn's forst Dr. Appt!

It was Emberlyn's first dr. appt today! She is 20 inches long and weighs 8lbs 5 oz. She was 7 lbs. 7 ozs. when she was born and was 7 lbs. even when we eft the hospital so she has gained a whole 1 lb and5 oz! I am so proud!!!

They pricked her little foot to take a blood sample. She was so mad!! She was crying and kicking so hard! The nurse couldn't believe how strong her little kicks were!!!

Thats my girl! You make her mad and she'll let you know!!!! :) Just like her mommy and Daddy! Overall her appt. went really well! She is growing and looks so good!

I really like the Dr. she is going to. His name is Dr. Adams ad he is the dr that saw Emberlyn in the hospital. He works at Utah Valley Pedrictics in Provo and their office is so nice and all the nurses are way nice too! their reminder cards are actual stickers you can stick on you calendar! I have never seen that before and I think it is so clever. Jeffers told me a lot of places do it though lol!

The past almost 3 weeks have gone pretty good! My pain is basically all gone and breastfeedingis going WAY good. Still VERY sore but it is getting better! Jeffers sister let me borrow her pump and it actually worked for me! I am so happy. We are trying it out tonight to see if Emberlyn will take to a bottle okay. I hope she does! She hasen't hd any confusion on her pacifier and my breast so I hope it goes smoothy indroducing her to a bottle!

Everything is going good so I thought I would just put up an update!!

Emberlyn Torrey Nilsson is finally here!!!

Emberlyn Torrey Nilsson was born on June 30th, 2008 at 9:56 am. They induced me at around 9:30 the night before. Jeffers, my Mom, and Lexie were there with me the whole night!!! Lexie and my mom didn't sleep at all!!! Jeffers stayed with me the whole time and he did such a good job at coaching me and helping me! I'm so proud! He is such a good dad!! When she was born she had an irregular heart beat so they had the nicu nurses in the room when she was born to check her out, they said she was fine but later that night the nurse could still hear the irregular heartbeat so she had the Dr call in the EKG man and they did an EKG, it all came back normal, the Dr. said he can hear a little heart murmur but nothing to be concerned about! So that is a relief!! She is a perfect littel healthy baby! It was an amazing experience and I have the cuteset baby to show for it! :) We came home yesterday and it feels nice to be back home! Emberlyn makes some of the cutest faces! It is so adorable! She now has this thing where she just sprawls out when she is sleeping with her hands above her head!! It is adorable! I'm not sure who she looks like. Some people say me, and others say Jeffers so we'll see how much she changes!!! I am feeling good (tired but good!) and if anyone wants to come visit you are more than welsoe to come whenever you want!!! Emberlyn would love to meet all of he family!! I love you all and can't wait for her to meet everyone!!! I wanna say thanks you to my Mom, she was there with me the whole time! She is such a huge help! Thanks Mom I love you!

ToNiGhT!!!

Well tonight is the night! At 8 pm I go in to be induced!!! Oh my goodness, I can not believe this 9 months is over!!! It felt like yesterday I just found out I was pregnant!! This has been such a wonderful experience and I will never forget what this has been like for the past 9 months. I have had his little baby growing in me and getting to hear her heart to seeing her on the ultrasound, then being able to feel her kick, watching my belly grow to be a HUGE watermelon!! It sure has been an experience!
I'm soo nervous about tonight, but at the same time its a relief that I know when I am going to have her and so its not ike I'm sitting at work and my water breaks which would terrify me!!! LOL! I am also excited I am FINALLY going to meet my little baby! I hope that all goes well.
I want to say thank you to all of my family and friends that have been here for me through all of this! I love you all sooo much and and I appricate everything you all have done for me and Jeffers!

I love you guys!! I'll keep you all posted on how it went and I'll put up pictures once I get home!!!

UPDATE!!!

Soooo I went to the Dr. today and...............................

He is going to induce me on Sunday night at 8 pm if she isn't here by then!!!!
I'm going to be a Mom in exactly a week! This is so exciting!!! But I am also so nervous! I can't believe it has been 9 whole months!!! I never thought I would be a week away from having my baby. I am so blessed to be able to experience something as great as this! I am so lucky to have such wonderful people around me! So much wonderful family and friends!!

Anyway, I want to go and do tons of things this week! I really want to get our room rearranged and out laundry caught up.
I also really want to go out for a nice dinner, go to a movie, and get a pedicure!!! If the pedicure thing doesn't happen I think I will be able to get that done by myself!!! I would love to go bowling and to another Owlz baseball game before Sunday as well!

Well I thought I would just give the update!!! So everyone plan on not working Monday and Tuesday! The babe will be here Monday!!! :)

YaY! FINALLY!

Yay! Well finally I have done it! I have made a blog! I have been wanting to for a LONG time but just have never actually done it! Now I can keep you all informed on the baby!! and well our life in general! Well we bought a digital camera this last week and it is AWESOME!!! I love it! Jeffers has such good taste! Sometimes I really do think he has better taste than me!!! :)

Only 11 more days til my due date! Which is July 2nd for those who don't know! But when I went to the Dr. last MOnday he told me and this coming appt. if I am starting to dialate then he would just induce me on June 30th!! IF I wasn't and she haden't come by her due date he will induce me on the 3rd!!! Maybe a 4th of July baby! That would be cool! Well Monday will tell us all what day its going to be! Anyway, I'm going to start playing on here and see what kind of cool things I can do to my blog!!
